Dolby Laboratories, Meta Expand Dolby Features Across Devices, Instagram

03:46 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dolby Laboratories (DLB) and Meta (META) said Wednesday they are expanding Dolby features across Meta's devices and platforms, including Meta AI glasses and Instagram. The companies said Meta AI glasses will be able to capture audio in Dolby Atmos and let users share the recordings on Instagram. Meta's newest VR device, expected to launch next year, will also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for movies, shows, sports, concerts and other VR content, they added. The companies said their research will also explore the use of Dolby technologies across Meta's entertainment and content-creation platforms.
