Conagra Brands Q1 Likely to be In-Line, UBS Says

03:00 PM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Conagra Brands (CAG) is expected to post a broadly in-line fiscal Q1 and to keep its fiscal 2027 outlook amid inflation concerns, UBS said in a note Wednesday. The results are due Sept. 30. For Q1, EPS is expected at $0.27, below Visible Alpha's $0.28 consensus, the note said. Organic sales are projected to decline 1.6%, against estimates of a 1.4% fall. Although the outlook has become more challenging, the firm is likely to reiterate its guidance due to the limited visibility this early in the year, the report said. UBS analysts said they would remain on the sidelines until there is greater visibility into an improvement in operating conditions amid "attractive" valuation. UBS maintained its neutral rating with a $14 price target. Price: 14.81, Change: +0.03, Percent Change: +0.20

The net purchases in the second quarter alone reached $426 billion, setting a new single-quarter record. Meanwhile, overseas demand for US Treasuries has noticeably cooled, with purchase volumes falling significantly. As a result, the US is facing higher costs in government debt financing.
