01:13 PM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks fell in Wednesday afternoon trading with the NYSE Financial Index dropping 0.6% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) easing 0.1%. The Philadelphia Housing Index and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) each declined 1.1%. Bitcoin (BTC-USD) fell 3.2% to $83,854, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries jumped 15 basis points to 5.12%. In corporate news, a Morgan Stanley (MS) employee accidentally leaked an internal list of more than 100 investment-banking deals the firm is monitoring and pitching in Asia, Bloomberg reported. Morgan Stanley shares fell 1%.
