Alphabet's YouTube Announces New Features, Updates at Annual Event

YouTube launched Custom Feeds, a new feature that allows users to create a dedicated tab for specific interests, accessible from the homepage. The company said it will launch a new editing tool across Shorts and the YouTube Create app. Creators can also now use YouTube Studio to get personalized guidance on early drafts and generate video thumbnails, it said. The company said it is launching an Ask Music feature on YouTube Music, enabling users to customize queues. It is also introducing a personalized AI-audio guide for members and YouTube Premium subscribers. Additionally, YouTube said that Coachella will stream exclusively on YouTube through 2030.
