Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Fall in Wednesday Trading

10:42 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were falling in Wednesday trading, down 1.30% to 2,995.86 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index. From North Asia, the gainers were led by automotive marketplace Token Cat (TC) and real estate and digital security firm Eason Technology (DXF), which rose 3.2% and 1.3% respectively. The decliners from North Asia were led by mobile big data platform Aurora Mobile (JG) and semiconductor company Silicon Motion Technology (SIMO), which fell 5% and 4.4% respectively. They were followed by internet data center services provider VNET Group (VNET), which was down 4.3%. There were no gainers from South Asia. The decliners from South Asia were led by Canaan (CAN) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which dropped 7.4% and 1.8% respectively. They were followed by IT firm Sify Technologies (SIFY) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which lost 1.4% and 0.9% respectively.
