Amazon Introduces New Agentic AI Capabilities for Seller Assistant

10:32 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon (AMZN) Wednesday introduced new agentic capabilities for its Seller Assistant, allowing the tool to provide personalized recommendations on topics such as inventory management and pricing based on persistent memory of each seller's business. The new Seller Assistant features custom automations that run continuously to monitor conditions, interpret changes and respond, even when the seller is not logged in to Seller Central. The new capabilities also include prebuilt templates that monitor account health, summarize orders, analyze pricing trends and identify product expansion opportunities. Amazon also introduced a new selling partner plugin that brings Seller Assistant's intelligence to Amazon Quick and, in beta, Anthropic's Claude.
