Cognex Introduces In-Sight 1750 to Improve Wafer Traceability

10:01 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cognex (CGNX) said Wednesday it launched the In-Sight 1750 Series wafer and panel identification system to help semiconductor manufacturers reduce disruptions, improve traceability and maintain throughput. The system combines AI technology, advanced imaging and purpose-built illumination to overcome production challenges such as difficult to read wafer and panel markings, including degraded marks and challenging substrates, the company said. Cognex said the In-Sight 1750 integrates with existing operations and supports upgrades, with features aimed at simplifying deployment and process control.
