Accenture (ACN.US) announced on Tuesday that it is collaborating with Amazon's (AMZN.US) AWS to launch technology solutions aimed at medium-sized enterprises.
According to Golden Ten Data APP, Accenture (ACN.US) announced on Tuesday that it is collaborating with Amazon (AMZN.US) subsidiary AWS to launch technology solutions for mid-sized enterprises, focusing on cloud migration, security, data management, and artificial intelligence. These solutions will be offered via the AWS Marketplace, with tools including migrating virtual machines to AWS, discovering and optimizing cloud spending, securing cloud systems, and testing potential risks of AI systems.
The related solutions fall under Accenture Edge, a division targeting enterprises with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion.
The partnership also covers customer service technologies, including conversational AI and virtual agents, as well as tools to help enterprises identify data sources and dependencies during the cloud migration process.
Accenture stated that Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator 407 ETR is one of its clients. The company, in partnership with Accenture’s NeuraFlash division and AWS, has built a brand new customer service system while maintaining existing operations.
Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge, stated: "Mid-sized enterprises require practical ways to adopt AI, modernize their technology foundation, and rapidly engage competition with solutions tailored to their scale. This collaboration combines Accenture’s industry and functional expertise with AWS’s cloud and AI services, delivering scalable, repeatable solutions that help mid-sized clients transition from vision to outcomes faster."
Chris Sullivan, Vice President of Americas & Industry Partner Sales and Development at AWS, emphasized: "For mid-sized enterprises, the key is not just accessing technology, but seeing returns from it. Accenture Edge solutions are built on AWS’s advanced cloud and AI services, providing clients with security, choice of models, and cost flexibility, enabling them to confidently modernize and drive real ROI."
Accenture's share price rose 0.6% pre-market, extending Monday’s gains. Previously, AI company Anthropic reached a collaboration with the technology consulting firm to jointly test the safety of its advanced artificial intelligence models.
