Fermi, TensorWave Extend Data Center Lease Closing to Oct. 31

05:57 PM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fermi (FRMI) and TensorWave TEX1 agreed to extend the closing date of their data center lease and services agreement by a month to Oct. 31. All other terms of the lease remain unchanged and in effect, Fermi said Tuesday in a statement. Fermi is negotiating a guaranty of certain lease obligations with an undisclosed investment-grade counterparty. Fermi and TensorWave extended the closing date to allow more time to finalize that guaranty and complete the remaining closing conditions, according to the statement. The lease covers 222 megawatts of total facility power at Fermi's Project Matador campus in Texas and represents about $6.5 billion in expected total revenue over its initial 15-year term, the company said.
