APi Group Closes Evergreen Fire and Security Acquisition

08:01 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- APi Group (APG) said Tuesday that it has closed its acquisition of Evergreen Fire and Security. The company said it expects Evergreen to contribute approximately $55 million in annual revenue. APi CEO Russ Becker said the acquisition expands the company's electronic security capabilities and scale within its North American Safety business. Financial terms were not disclosed. APi said it has deployed $1.7 billion of capital year to date, including acquisitions and investments in its business, as well as $250 million in share repurchases. The company said it has $750 million remaining under its current share repurchase authorization.
