CME FedWatch: 56.5% probability of a 25 basis point rate hike in October

According to CME “FedWatch”: There is a 43.5% probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% at its October meeting, and a 56.5% probability of a 25 basis point rate hike. By December, the probability of keeping rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% is 9.7%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate hike is 46.4%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate hike is 43.9%.
