03:25 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks jumped late Monday afternoon with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 2.8% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) climbing 3.6%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 4.4%. In corporate news, Syntec Optics (OPTX) shares rose 16% after the company won an order to support US Space Force infrastructure and reconnaissance operations by building optics for government satellite constellations designed to protect the country.
