Shiba Inu tests key resistance as SHIB seeks breakout above $0.00000570

Shiba Inu (SHIB) is undergoing a pivotal technical test as it attempts to surpass a prolonged resistance that has limited its recovery since the summer. The asset recently traded near $0.00000571, following an intraday move to approximately $0.00000579.

Technical indicators and critical levels

A crucial development centers on SHIB’s interaction with the black long-term moving average on the daily chart. This moving average has maintained a downtrend for several months and has acted repeatedly as an overhead barrier. SHIB has now nudged slightly above this level, opening the door to a potential shift in market direction if confirmed by subsequent price action.

The shorter-term moving averages have also improved, with SHIB remaining above these averages in the $0.00000505–$0.00000525 range. These averages have started to trend upward, reflecting gradually strengthening technical momentum. At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has climbed beyond 60 but still sits below levels typically considered overbought, suggesting there is some room for additional upside before signs of excessive momentum emerge.

Trading volume has increased alongside this latest advance, but it remains beneath the peaks seen during SHIB’s previous significant surges.

Exchange flows and market pressure

Recent exchange data has highlighted a noteworthy risk factor, as rising exchange reserves could introduce additional supply pressure. Total reserves at exchanges increased 0.14%, with netflow climbing 1.06%. More specifically, total inflows grew 0.86%, outpacing outflows which rose by 0.73%. The most significant change is a 24.12% jump in the seven-day moving average for mean exchange inflows.

While not a definitive sign that large holders plan to sell, this uptick in exchange deposits indicates a larger quantity of SHIB is now available for immediate trading. Such increases in potential supply can add downward pressure on price, particularly as the token approaches a technical breakout zone.

Next price targets and confirmation signals

For SHIB to firmly establish itself above this resistance, it must maintain daily closing prices above approximately $0.00000560–$0.00000570. Successfully holding this range would place the next upside target at $0.00000600, with a secondary target at the previous spike near $0.00000620.

Should SHIB fail to sustain the breakout, attention could quickly turn to the $0.00000540 level. Below this, a moving average cluster at $0.00000500–$0.00000520 offers a stronger base of technical support.

Maintaining prices above the long-term moving average, while withstanding rising exchange inflows, would deliver stronger confirmation for SHIB’s technical shift than the initial breakout itself.

Given the importance of tracking momentum indicators, investor activity, and timing in volatile markets such as meme tokens, rapid swings can generate substantial value in a short window. In the meme token market, an internet trend can transform into millions of dollars of interest within days. According to data shared by Fomo App, a trade involving “Niu Lai”—which turned an initial $99 investment into approximately $370,000—stands out as a striking example of this activity. Monitoring both token prices and the trading behavior of investors remains crucial, especially as projects like Fomo App offer tools that combine token discovery, social feeds, investor rankings, and trade notifications, enabling participants to stay informed within this rapidly evolving sector.

Blackstone President Jon Gray refuted the notion of an “AI trillion-dollar investment bubble” in his latest closed-door speech. He noted that large models and AI company revenues are exhibiting explosive growth by hundreds of times, and macro productivity has already surged. He likened the current AI wave to "the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in 1870," emphasizing that demand far exceeds supply. He stated that the true investment focus lies in addressing real-world “hard shortages,” specifically by heavily investing in chips, data centers, and power infrastructure, all of which face extremely high capital and capacity barriers.

The explosive growth of Meta's AI agent Muse shows that artificial intelligence is evolving from "chatting" to "getting things done": continuously running, data-orchestrating agents will extend computing power demand from GPUs to CPUs, boosting Arm, Intel, and AMD. Goldman Sachs commented that the strong rebound in the Nasdaq resembles a "quiet rally" driven by tech giants and options; institutions recognize the fundamentals of AI, but are concerned about valuations rising too quickly and divergences between interest rates and the credit market, waiting for Micron's earnings to verify whether the AI trade can be sustained.
