Enphase IQ Meter Collar wins approval from 80 US, Canada utilities

- The device can enable whole-home backup without rewiring circuits to a backup sub-panel, potentially speeding battery deployments.
- Approvals cover utilities serving more than 38 million customers, including California’s three major investor-owned utilities and SMUD.
- Hawaiian Electric cleared initial pilot installations, with full authorization expected in coming months.
