GE Aerospace to Support New York Research Center With $225 Million Investment

07:41 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GE Aerospace (GE) said Monday it will invest $225 million to upgrade the GE Aerospace Research Center in Niskayuna, New York. The project is also set to receive $8.4 million in state tax credits and $5.3 million in local incentives, the company said. The company said about two-thirds of the combined investments will go toward infrastructure improvements, with the remainder allocated for advanced research equipment and technology. Site work is expected to start immediately, with minimal disruption to research operations, GE Aerospace said.
