Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining Expands Mineral Rights Position at Idaho's Silver Valley

07:19 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining (SSMR) is expanding its mineral rights position in Idaho's Silver Valley by 14,100 acres to about 38,000 acres, the miner said Monday. The company said it will also start a multiyear, 45,000-meter surface exploration drilling program across the expanded land position in Q4. The program will begin drilling at the East Sunshine, Rock Creek and Pine Creek areas, the company added. Shares of the company were up 3% in Monday's premarket activity.
