Equinox Gold to Redeem $172.5 Million of Convertible Senior Notes

07:16 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Equinox Gold (EQX.TO) has elected to exercise its right to redeem all outstanding $172.5 million principal amount of 4.75% convertible senior notes due Oct. 15, 2028, the company said Monday. The redemption price for each note will equal 100% of its outstanding principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest excluding the redemption date. Holders of the notes may convert their notes at any time prior to 5 p.m., New York City time on Oct. 19. As of Sept. 18, the conversion rate is 158.7302 common shares per $1,000 principal amount of notes. Under the terms of the indenture governing the notes, Equinox will redeem all notes that have not been converted by Oct. 19.
