US stock index adjustments to take effect next Monday: Bloom Energy (BE.US) and Everpure (P.US) to be included in S&P 500, changes also for mid- and small-cap stocks
Bloom Energy, Illumina, and Everpure will be included in the S&P 500 index, while several other companies will be added to the S&P 100, S&P MidCap 400, and S&P SmallCap 600 indices.
Zhitong Finance APP has learned that S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following adjustments to the S&P 500 Index, S&P 100 Index, S&P MidCap 400 Index, and S&P SmallCap 600 Index, effective before the market opens on September 21, 2026 (Monday), to coincide with the quarterly rebalancing. These adjustments will enable each index to better represent its respective market capitalization range. Companies removed from the S&P SmallCap 600 Index will no longer represent the small-cap segment of the market.
