The Federal Reserve has comprehensively raised its federal funds rate projections; both this year’s PCE and core PCE inflation expectations have been revised upwards, with the 2% target level now anticipated to be achieved in 2029; meanwhile, GDP growth forecasts for this year and next year have been lifted, while unemployment rate expectations have been lowered.
