US To Sell $85 Bln In Reopened 8-Week Bills Thu
Dow Jones2026/09/15 15:00WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The U.S. Treasury plans to auction $85 billion in reopened 8-week bills Thursday.
The debt will settle on Sept. 22, 2026 and will mature Nov. 17, 2026.
The debt is a reopening of an issue first sold on July 21, 2026.
The Federal Reserve holds $20.987 billion of maturing securities for its own account. Amounts bid by the Federal Reserve banks for their own account will be in addition to the public offering amount.
Noncompetitive tenders for the 8-week bills, available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 11:00 AM Eastern Time Thursday. Competitive tenders available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 11:30 AM Eastern Time.
The CUSIP number is 912797VX2.
