Ambarella Collaborates With Ultralytics, Launches X7 Accelerator

10:07 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ambarella (AMBA) said Tuesday it is collaborating with Ultralytics to support the deployment of Ultralytics YOLO computer vision models on Ambarella's CVflow-powered edge AI devices. The collaboration aims to help developers and product teams build and deploy vision applications across areas such as smart cameras, robotics, automotive, and industrial systems, according to a statement. The company also said it has launched X7, its first standalone CVflow AI accelerator, expanding AI capabilities for Arm and x86-based systems without requiring a platform redesign. X7 operates at 2 to 5 watts and supports CNNs, vision transformers, multimodal transformers and hybrid networks, with target applications in industrial inspection, robotics, intelligent transportation, physical security and enterprise edge systems, the company said.
