V2X Awarded Position on US Air Force Contract for B-52 Long Range Standoff Cruise Missile Program

08:31 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- V2X (VVX) has been awarded a position on a $46 million US Air Force contract for the Long Range Standoff cruise missile program for the B-52 Stratofortress aircraft, the company said Tuesday. Under the contract, V2X will provide carriage equipment production supporting the integration of the Long Range Standoff weapon system on the B-52, according to the company. The Long Range Standoff program is a modernization effort for the US Air Force that will replace the current air-launched cruise missile with the long range cruise missile, V2X said.
