04:53 PM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sysco (SYY) said late Monday it plans to launch an offering of $1 billion of its shares. The company said it plans to grant its underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional $150 million shares. Net proceeds will be used to help fund its acquisition of Jetro Restaurant Depot, Sysco said, adding the offering is not contingent on the consummation of the deal. Sysco shares were down about 3% in after-hours activity.
