Rio2 to Be Added to MVIS Global Gold Miners Index Sept. 18

03:59 PM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rio2 (RIO.TO) said Monday that will be added to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index, from Sept. 18. The index benchmarks the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF, which tracks small-cap gold and silver mining companies, a statement said. The inclusion is expected to improve Rio2's trading liquidity and increase exposure to global capital markets, the company said. Rio2 shares were last seen down CA$0.05 at CA$3.54 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
