TRX Gold Books Higher Gold Production in Fiscal Q4

10:05 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TRX Gold (TRX.TO) produced 8,173 ounces of gold in its fiscal fourth quarter, jumping 28% year over year from 6,404 ounces, according to preliminary results. For its fiscal 2026, TRX's gold production jumped 57% year over year to 29,650 ounces, hitting the top end of its annual production guidance range of 25,000 to 30,000 ounces, the company said Monday. TRX expects its revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter and full-year 2026 to increase from the year-ago period, driven by the stronger average market price for gold. TRX said it continues to advance upgrades at its existing 2,000 tonne-per-day (tpd) processing plant as well as the development of a new 3,500 tpd processing plant as part of its plant expansion.
