Tesla to Launch Long-Delayed Electric Sports Car Roadster on Oct. 1

The company first unveiled the next-generation Roadster model in 2017 and had planned for deliveries to begin in 2020, but the program underwent repeated delays. The launch could include an exhibition of a limited-edition version with cold-gas thrusters developed in collaboration with SpaceX (SPCX), The Information reported last month.
