Pharming Gets FDA Approval for Joenja to Treat APDS in Children Aged 4-11

01:16 PM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pharming's (PHAR) Joenja tablets have been approved to treat activated phosphoinositide 3-kinase delta syndrome, or APDS, in children 4-11 years who weigh at least 27 kg, the US Food and Drug Administration said Friday. Joenja was first approved in 2023 for the same indication in patients 12 years and older, the regulator said. APDS is a rare genetic disorder that impairs cells of the immune system.
