On Friday, the three major U.S. stock indexes opened higher, with the Nasdaq up 1.03%. Most leading tech stocks rose.

According to the Zhihong Finance APP, on Friday, all three major U.S. stock indices opened higher together. The Nasdaq rose 1.03%, with most leading technology stocks gaining. Dell Technologies (DELL.US) climbed over 6%, Apple (AAPL.US) and Google A (GOOGL.US) rose more than 2%, Amazon (AMZN.US) and Microsoft (MSFT.US) gained over 1%, and NVIDIA (NVDA.US) and Tesla (TSLA.US) were up nearly 1%.

On the news front, data released by the U.S. Department of Labor on the 11th showed that the U.S. core consumer price index for August grew 2.4% year-on-year, with expectations at 2.4% and the previous value at 2.5%. The core CPI for August increased 0.3% month-on-month, with expectations at 0.2%. After the U.S. August CPI was released, traders estimated there was about a 90% chance the Federal Reserve would raise interest rates next week, and the market fully expects the Fed to raise rates twice before the end of the year.

Goldman Sachs economist Alexandra Wilson-Elizondo stated that today's data in line with expectations will allow the Federal Reserve to retain the option of raising interest rates, but does not force it to act immediately. Therefore, the market may shift focus to Waller's communication, energy prices, labor market data, and what will happen next, rather than today's release.
