Disinflation Seen as Gradual, Selective -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/09/11 05:040504 GMT - Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management's central scenario is one of gradual and selective disinflation, with the pace differing across regions, says Michael Nizard, head of multiasset and overlay, in a note. The differences will reflect each region's respective exposure to energy, supply chains and domestic demand, but the broader direction should remain one of inflation normalization, he says. "This should ultimately allow interest rates to stabilize and, potentially, decline gradually." (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
