U.S. crude oil production rises to nearly 14 million barrels per day, reaching a record high

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) released data on Thursday showing that, for the week ending September 4, domestic crude oil production in the United States increased by approximately 85,000 barrels per day, reaching a record high of 13.95 million barrels per day. According to EIA data, the previous record was set for the week ending August 28, when U.S. crude oil production stood at 13.86 million barrels per day.
