U.S. natural gas inventories increased by 4 billion cubic feet to 3.254 trillion cubic feet for the week ending September 4.

EIA Natural Gas Report: As of the week ending September 4, the total U.S. natural gas inventory stood at 3.254 trillion cubic feet, an increase of 40 billion cubic feet from the previous week. This is 79 billion cubic feet less than the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%. At the same time, the inventory is 148 billion cubic feet above the five-year average, an increase of 4.8%.
