Zacatecas Silver Extends Oso Negro Vein System, Advances Targets Toward Drilling

07:49 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zacatecas Silver's (ZAC.V) second phase of rock chip sampling at its Oso Negro project in Sonora, Mexico, returned individual grab samples grading up to 20.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 3,480 g/t silver and extended the mapped vein system to more than 3 kilometers, it said in a statement on Thursday. Sampling also confirmed continuous gold-silver mineralization along the full 600 meter strike length of the Prospecto vein. Both its Prospecto and Tere veins are now drill-ready with drill plan designs and permitting underway, it said. The company collected a total of 156 rock chip samples during Phase One. A further 354 rock chip samples were collected and submitted for assay during Phase Two, it said. Shares of the company closed unchanged at CA$0.065 on Wednesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
