Simon Property Launches Offering of $800 Million of Senior Notes

05:47 PM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Simon Property (SPG) said late Wednesday its Simon Property Group LP unit will offer $400 million of 5.25% senior notes due 2032 and $400 million of 5.65% senior notes due 2036. The offering is expected to be completed on Sept. 16. The operating partnership will use the proceeds to repay all or part of its $750 million outstanding amount of 3.25% notes due 2026 and for general corporate purposes, the company said.
