Middleby to Discontinue Brewing Group; 2026 Guidance Reaffirmed

05:44 PM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Middleby (MIDD) said late Wednesday it will discontinue its Middleby Brewing & Distilling Solutions Group business, with the wind-down expected to be substantially complete by year-end. The Brewing Group comprises the company's Deutsche Beverage + Process, Ss Brewtech and Wild Goose Filling brands. The company said the move is expected to be immaterial to its 2026 financial guidance and expects to realize the annual benefit within its 2027 adjusted EBITDA margins, according to a statement. The company reaffirmed its fiscal Q3 and full-year 2026 financial guidance for adjusted EPS and net sales provided with its fiscal Q2 results.
