Lyft Appoints Michael Brous as Finance Chief; Reaffirms Guidance for Q3

08:39 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lyft (LYFT) said Wednesday it has appointed Michael Brous as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 28. Brous will succeed Erin Brewer, who is planning to retire but will remain with the company as an adviser through Dec. 15 to support the transition. Brous joined the company in 2018 and currently serves as the head of Lyft Urban Solutions and Safety and Customer Care. Additionally, the mobility company reaffirmed its guidance for Q3, expecting quarterly gross bookings between $5.50 billion to $5.67 billion and adjusted EBITDA in the range of $183 million to $203 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.62 billion and $193.7 million, respectively. Shares of the company were down over 2% in Wednesday premarket activity.
