Arbitrum ($ARB) price has entered a decisive recovery phase, with the token surging as buyers regain control after a prolonged period of weakness. The rally has pushed $ARB through key resistance and brought the $0.20 level back into focus. At the same time, stronger activity across the Arbitrum ecosystem is adding substance to the move, giving the rally more than a purely technical narrative. With momentum accelerating, the focus now shifts to whether $ARB can hold its breakout and turn the latest surge into a sustained move higher.

Arbitrum’s Revenue Story Is Getting Stronger

Arbitrum’s latest rally has a fundamental angle that goes beyond short-term momentum. Robinhood Chain, built using Arbitrum technology, has created a new revenue channel for the broader Arbitrum ecosystem. Its mainnet activity has added fresh evidence that Arbitrum’s Orbit and expansion strategy can translate third-party chain adoption into economic value for the network.

The Arbitrum Foundation reported $6.19 million in first-half 2026 income, while Expansion Program licensing fees accounted for 35% of ArbitrumDAO income in July. That makes ecosystem expansion an increasingly relevant part of the $ARB investment narrative, rather than a purely speculative catalyst.

$ARB Price Analysis: $0.20 Is the First Major Test

Arbitrum price chart shows a sharp reversal from its late-August lows, followed by a breakout above the descending trend structure. The token has since reclaimed the $0.14–$0.16 area and accelerated toward the $0.20 mark. The current structure keeps $0.16–$0.17 as the first support zone. Holding above it would preserve the breakout and give buyers room to challenge the recent high around $0.20. A decisive daily close above $0.20 would shift the chart toward the next resistance near $0.24–$0.25.

If $ARB loses $0.16, the breakout could face a deeper retest toward $0.14–$0.15. $ARB now needs sustained demand above the reclaimed range. Continued growth from chains using Arbitrum technology, particularly Robinhood Chain, would strengthen the ecosystem-revenue narrative while a sustained rise in trading activity would provide technical confirmation. The key distinction for the next phase is acceptance rather than a single price spike. If buyers continue absorbing supply around $0.17 and then clear $0.20, the rally could transition from a sharp recovery into a broader trend move.

Final Take

$ARB’s setup has improved materially, combining a structural technical breakout with a stronger ecosystem-revenue narrative. $0.16–$0.17 remains the critical defense zone, while $0.20 is the immediate upside barrier. A sustained break above $0.20 could put $0.24–$0.25 in focus, whereas a loss of $0.16 would weaken the bullish setup.

SpaceX's rising weight triggers $12.4 billion in passive buying; is the test of 2.3 billion unlocked shares still to come?

According to estimates by JPMorgan, the Nasdaq 100 index rebalancing on September 21 will increase SpaceX's weighting from 1.25% to about 1.51%, triggering approximately $12.4 billion in passive net buying. The driver for this weighting jump is the unlocking of restricted shares, and the scale of unlocks will continue to expand in the future: by mid-November, more than 2.3 billion shares will gradually become tradable. The interplay between restricted share unlocks and passive buying may dominate SpaceX's pricing in the fourth quarter.
