Phoenix Metals Gets Amended Exploration Permit for Greenwood Project

07:44 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Phoenix Metals (PCA.TO) received amended Exploration Permit MX-5-836 from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for the Greenwood Precious Metals Project, located near Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada, it said in a statement on Tuesday. The company can now start drilling numerous targets within the top priority Phoenix Target Area. It also awarded a 51,500-metre drill contract to speed-up the exploration of the top priority targets within the Phoenix Target Area, including Phoenix South, JD/Golden Crown, Phoenix Deep and Blue Bell, after getting the receipt of the exploration permit, it said. Shares of the company closed up 0.8% to CA$1.23 on Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
