Brent crude futures approach $100 per barrel as international oil prices rise again

Due to the heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, international oil prices continued to rise intraday on the 8th, with Brent crude prices at one point reaching as high as $99.20 per barrel. As of 16:09 Beijing time on the 8th, the price of light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange was $94.46 per barrel, an increase of 3.26%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for November delivery on the London exchange was $99.17 per barrel, an increase of 2.24%.
