⑴ According to data from Poland's central bank, as of the end of August, official reserve assets rose to approximately 263 billion euros, up from about 256 billion euros in the previous month. When denominated in US dollars, reserves increased to around $305 billion, a significant rise from about $295 billion in July. ⑵ The central bank's gold reserves reached about 20.58 million ounces (approximately 640 tons) at the end of July, higher than the roughly 20.33 million ounces in the previous month. The consecutive increase in gold holdings reflects the central bank's ongoing tendency toward diversified reserve allocation. ⑶ The monthly growth in reserve assets was supported by exchange rate fluctuations, asset price revaluations, and potential gold purchases. The overall reserve level remains at a historically high range, providing Poland with ample buffer to withstand external shocks.
