Dick’s FY26 Q2 net income drops 17.3% to $315.5 million; net sales rise 53.2% to $5.59 billion
Reuters2026/09/03 16:25- Dick’s Sporting Goods posted Q2 net income of USD 315.5 million, or USD 3.50 a share, down from USD 381.4 million, or USD 4.71.
- Net sales more than doubled, rising 53.2% to USD 5.59 billion, including USD 1.74 billion from Foot Locker.
- Operating income slipped to USD 440.8 million from USD 452.2 million; gross margin fell 2.28 percentage points to 34.78%.
- Foot Locker produced a segment loss of USD 31.9 million on USD 1.7 billion of net sales; pro forma comparable sales fell 3.6%.
- Forecast total net sales of USD 21.9 billion to USD 22.2 billion, earnings per share of USD 10.94 to USD 11.94; Foot Locker segment loss seen at USD 80 million to USD 40 million.
