Sector Update: Healthcare Stocks Flat to Higher Premarket Wednesday

09:16 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Healthcare stocks were flat to higher premarket Wednesday, with the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) inactive and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) up 0.5%. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA) shares were up more than 1% after the company said its investigational anti-IL-15 antibody TEV '408 met the primary endpoint in an ongoing Phase 2a study in adults with celiac disease. Telix Pharmaceuticals (TLX) has completed patient enrollment for the phase 3 study of its commercial PSMA-PET imaging agents Illuccix and Gozellix in prostate cancer imaging in pre-biopsy setting, the company said. Telix Pharmaceuticals stock was up more than 5% pre-bell. uniQure (QURE) has submitted a Biologics License Application to the US Food and Drug Administration for the accelerated approval of AMT-130 to treat Huntington's disease, the company said. uniQure shares were up more than 6% premarket.
