On the 2nd, Korean economic and industry news outlet Etoday and blockchain and digital asset specialist media Nextblock announced that they have signed a business cooperation agreement (MOU) with the global Web3 data platform RootData regarding blockchain and digital asset data and content collaboration.

The aim of this collaboration is to provide Korean users with easier access to various industry data such as global Web3 projects, investments and funding, investment institutions, token unlocks, and market attention. Based on Web3 data held by RootData, the parties will explore the feasibility of linking Etoday and Nextblock's content and data services.

RootData is a global data platform providing blockchain industry-related data such as Web3 projects, investment institutions, funding rounds, token unlocks, and project attention. Through this cooperation, Etoday will utilize RootData's data to strengthen the foundation of data-driven reporting on blockchain and digital assets, while Nextblock will explore the potential for integrating professional Web3 content and data services related to project information, investment trends, token unlocks, and market trends in phases.

The two sides will begin by conducting data integration tests based on RootData’s Web3 data to identify valuable data projects and service formats for Korean readers and users. The scope of future cooperation will expand gradually based on the results of these tests and market response.

Lee Jong-jae, Vice Chairman of Etoday, stated: “There is a growing demand in the Korean Web3 market for data-driven content that can systematically verify global projects and investment flows. Through cooperation with RootData, we will launch a variety of data-driven content to help Korean readers more easily understand global Web3 industry trends.”

YuBo Pan, co-founder of RootData, said: “Korea is one of the core markets for the Web3 industry and an important region in RootData’s future market expansion strategy. We look forward to leveraging the partnership with Etoday and Nextblock to bring RootData’s accurate and comprehensive data to the Korean market, providing better services for Korean users and partners.”

Starting with this MOU, both parties will explore application possibilities for blockchain and digital asset industry data, and plan to conduct in-depth discussions on various collaborative schemes including future data-driven content, project information provision, market analysis, and joint promotion.
