Market Strategist Says XRP Is About to Crash Hard. Here’s why
Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto recently shared a 2-week XRP/USD chart that drew significant attention because the analyst stated, “I believe $XRP is about to crash HARD.” At first glance, the chart appears to show XRP heading toward a steep decline. However, a closer look reveals a very different story.
The chart’s price scale is inverted. What displays as a downward move is actually a price increase. What appears as a descending resistance trendline is, in reality, a rising support structure. That distinction changes the entire analysis.
A Pattern That Has Repeated Twice
The rising support line on the chart has played an active role in XRP’s two most significant rallies in recent history. It supported the surge in 2021, which the chart marks at +1,057.03%. It then supported the move in late 2024, marked at +629.07%. Both rallies originated from contact with that same trendline.
XRP is now approaching that trendline again. The chart structure is repeating. XRP has experienced a prolonged consolidation since mid-2025, and its price has compressed toward the support level. The current setup now mirrors the conditions that preceded those two previous moves.
The Final Target
The third measurement on the chart, marked at +2,075.22%, projects a move that carries XRP toward approximately $20. That projection follows the same methodology used to calculate the previous two rallies on the chart.
While XRP recently experienced a notable pump, the analyst starts the calculation from the cycle’s bottom near $1. A move of that magnitude would represent a historic gain, sending XRP to $20.75. The chart structure provides a technical basis, as the support trendline has produced consistent results.
The Structure Behind the Setup
Steph Is Crypto’s post suggests that XRP is about to crash significantly. This statement shocked investors because the asset’s upward momentum recently stalled. This makes the inverted price scale critical. A reader interpreting the chart without accounting for the inversion would walk away expecting a collapse. A reader who accounts for it says a massive rally is developing.
XRP has already shown early movement off the support zone, and currently trades at $1.39. The current position is consistent with the two prior entry points. If the pattern holds, the move toward $20 is a reasonable projection on the chart.
