Exascale Labs Signs MoU With EnergyBank for AI Computing Pilot

09:34 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Exascale Labs (XLAB) said Monday that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with EnergyBank to potentially develop and commercialize artificial intelligence computing powered by floating offshore wind and long-duration energy storage. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company said the MoU is considering beginning with a pilot program with floating offshore wind turbine Zephyros-One, which is operated by Sustainable Energy Norway. Exascale said the project aims to provide up to 800 kilowatts of computing capacity, while EnergyBank is expected to fund the pilot with private investment and potential public funding.
