- It becomes operator with a 50% stake; MIWEN, a YPF unit, holds the remaining 50%.
- OFF-5 is in its first exploration period; studies are underway to assess hydrocarbon potential.
- The move deepens Eni’s partnership with YPF, which also spans the Argentina LNG (ARGLNG) project.
- Eni also agreed to acquire a 40% interest in the adjacent OFF-6 block operated by APA.
