CIMB Group Q2 FY26 profit rises 2.32% to RM 1.66 billion

- Six-month profit attributable to shareholders rose 0.6% to RM 3.16 billion, while basic EPS eased to 46.33 sen.
- Six-month net interest income after modification loss slipped 1.09% to RM 4.14 billion, as other non-interest income climbed 8.95% to RM 1.62 billion.
- Six-month expected credit losses on loans widened 17.97% to RM 703.47 million, while 2Q expected credit losses rose to RM 393.34 million.
- Total assets increased to RM 703.23 billion at June 30, 2026, while customer deposits grew to RM 430.16 billion.
