02:22 PM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Build-A-Bear Workshop (BBW) lowered its fiscal 2026 revenue and pre-tax income outlook while reporting fiscal Q2 results Thursday that showed a decline in diluted earnings per share. Shares sank 30%, with intraday trading volume soaring to over 3.29 million from the stock's daily average of roughly 395,000. Alpha Modus (AMOD) is advancing a strategic transaction expected to add 3,170 bitcoins to its balance sheet, representing more than $200 million in Bitcoin assets, the company said Thursday. Management expects the transaction would "materially" increase shareholder equity and address the company's outstanding Nasdaq shareholder equity deficiency, the company said. Shares dropped 31% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 1.52 million from a daily average of about 35,000. Hormel Foods (HRL) lowered its fiscal 2026 sales outlook on Thursday while reporting mixed Q3 results, with the top line under pressure amid a challenging consumer environment.
