08:23 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Amends adjusted earnings figures in the first paragraph.) Burlington Stores (BURL) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $2.96 per share, up from $1.59 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.19. Net sales for the quarter ended Aug. 1 was $3.0 billion, compared with $2.70 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.03 billion. The retailer said it expects fiscal Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.60 to $1.70 and 9% to 11% in total sales growth. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.04 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $2.99 billion. For fiscal 2026, Burlington Stores now expects adjusted EPS of $11.77 to $11.97, compared with $11.45 to $11.80 previously, while sales growth is expected at 10% to 11%, versus 9% to 11% prior. Analysts polled by FactSet expect adjusted EPS of $11.97 and revenue of $12.93 billion. Shares of Burlington Stores were down 2.5% in premarket activity Thursday.
