1844 ET - Investor excitement around CrowdStrike's strong second-quarter print is spilling over to Palo Alto Networks, the other leading cybersecurity firm. CrowdStrike reports 26% revenue growth and a swing to a profit, saying that the development of Anthropic's powerful Mythos AI model "translated into mass-market acceptance that AI adoption needs security, and that's CrowdStrike." Palo Alto, which is set to report its own earnings next week, has similarly touted a surge in demand driven by AI. CrowdStrike rallies 10%, to $208.75, after-hours, while Palo Alto gains 5%, to $356.39. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
