- Funding round included several other corporate venture funds, broadening OptQC’s strategic backers.
- OptQC develops room-temperature optical quantum computer hardware, leveraging time-domain multiplexing to scale qubit counts with fewer components.
- OptQC started operating its first prototype, MoQuren, at AIST in July 2026, targeting commercialization in Japan.
- Global Brain previously invested in OptQC in January 2025 and October 2025.
